Warranty Policy
1. Warranty Duration – All FlipCash refurbished devices come with a standard 6-month limited warranty, starting from the date of invoice issued by FlipCash.
2. Extended Warranty (If Purchased) – While the default warranty is 6 months, if FlipCash or any of its partner stores has offered an 8-month or 12-month extended warranty at the time of purchase, then that extended duration will be applicable for the specific device.
3. Refund & Replacement β Website Orders – Products purchased through the FlipCash website are eligible for a 15-day refund or replacement policy from the date of delivery.
4. Replacement Window β Retail (POS) Orders – For in-store purchases, a 30-day replacement policy is available from the invoice date. Approval is subject to store discretion.
5. Accessories Warranty Period – Accessories (Adapter, Charging/Data Cable, Battery, etc.) that come with the device carry a 3-month limited warranty from the invoice date.
6. Warranty for Original Buyer Only – The warranty is valid only for the first purchaser of the product. It is non-transferable.
7. Original Invoice Required – To claim warranty services, the customer must provide the original invoice clearly showing the FlipCash partner/store and the date of purchase.
8. How to Raise a Warranty Claim – Warranty claims must be submitted via the Warranty Claim Form available on the FlipCash Contact Page. After review, our team will assist further.
9. Device Identification Required – You must provide the correct IMEI or Serial Number of the device to verify warranty eligibility.
10. Device Images Required – Customers must upload clear front, back, and side images of the device while submitting the warranty form. A video may be requested in some cases.
11. Validity of Issue Description – The reason mentioned in the claim form must be genuine and match the actual device issue. Incorrect or misleading reasons may result in claim rejection.
12. Seal Integrity – If the internal seal of the device is broken or tampered, the warranty will be considered void and no service will be offered.
13. Resolution Offered During Warranty – FlipCash may choose to repair, replace, or refund (as per policy) the device under warranty. Replaced products will carry the remaining warranty from the original device.
14. Reporting Timeframe for Damaged Devices – If the product has visible damage, customers must report it within 24 hours of delivery, along with a proper unboxing video.
15. Ownership of Replaced Components – Any parts replaced during the warranty process will be retained by FlipCash and will not be returned to the customer.
16. Packaging for Return Pickups – Devices must be securely packed to avoid damage during transit. FlipCash may deduct compensation for any physical damage caused due to poor packaging.
17. Outsourced Services – FlipCash reserves the right to outsource repair or warranty services to authorized service partners.
18. Policy Binding Agreement – This warranty policy constitutes the entire agreement between FlipCash and the customer regarding refurbished device support.
19. Delay Due to External Factors –FlipCash will not be liable for delays in service caused due to unforeseen events such as natural disasters, strikes, or government actions.
20. Legal Governance – All warranty policies and services will be governed under the applicable laws of India.
21. Jurisdiction – Any legal matters arising out of this policy shall be resolved in the courts of Pune, Maharashtra, which shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
22. Rights Reserved – FlipCash (operated by its legal entity) reserves the right to change or update this warranty policy at any time without prior notice.
Conditions Where FlipCash Warranty Becomes Void
At FlipCash, we value customer trust and stand by our warranty. However, certain conditions can void the limited warranty coverage. Please read the terms below carefully:
a. Incorrect Product Information: The warranty will be void if the customer fails to provide the correct IMEI number or serial number at the time of the claim.
b. Tampered or Mismatched IMEI/Serial Number: Devices with removed, altered, or illegible IMEI/serial numbers, or if they do not match FlipCash records, will not be eligible for warranty.
c. Damage Beyond Control: Warranty will not apply in the following cases:
- Mishandling or misuse of the device
Exposure to water, moisture, or extreme temperatures
Physical or accidental damage
Unauthorized repairs or modifications
Use of unapproved chargers, accessories, or software
Natural disasters or incidents beyond our control
Issues not caused by regular usage
d. Delay in Reporting the Issue: Warranty claims must be raised within the active warranty period. Late submissions will not be accepted.
e. Use of Unauthorized Accessories/Software: Using the device with accessories or software not approved or provided by FlipCash will result in warranty cancellation.
f. Quality Inspection Criteria: All warranty claims will be evaluated based on FlipCash’s internal quality check guidelines. If the reported issue is not found genuine during inspection, the warranty will not apply.
g. Natural Performance Changes: Normal wear and tear, aging of the product, or changes due to continuous use and environmental conditions are not covered under warranty.
h. Data Backup is Customerβs Responsibility: Customers must take complete backup of their data, settings, and apps before submitting the device for service. FlipCash is not responsible for any data loss during repair or replacement.
i. Charges for Non-Covered Repairs: If the reported issue is not covered under warranty, the customer will be informed and billed for the repair and labor costs before proceeding.
j. Product & Policy Updates: FlipCash reserves the right to modify product features, specifications, or warranty terms without prior notice.
k. Limitation of Liability: Our liability is limited strictly to repair, replacement, or eligible refund under warranty terms. FlipCash shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from device usage or warranty claim processes.
