Terms of Use

Please read these Terms of Use carefully before using this website, application, or platform (“FlipCash”). These Terms of Use govern your access to and use of the FlipCash platform and services. The platform is available for your use only if you agree to all the terms mentioned below. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use FlipCash.

By accessing or using FlipCash, you (“you” or “your”) agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Use, whether you are an individual user or acting on behalf of a company or entity.

FlipCash is operated and owned by Mr. Sagar Shivaji Thorat, who provides the platform to connect customers with services for buying, selling, and repairing refurbished electronic devices.

This is a legally binding agreement between you (the seller of the device), FlipCash (the platform), and FlipCash’s third-party buyers (“Buyers”), who facilitate purchasing, recycling, and/or donation of used consumer electronics (“Buyer Services”). FlipCash provides a platform to allow sellers to sell eligible goods, but the actual transactions may be conducted directly with third-party buyers. FlipCash is not responsible for the buyer’s obligations in such transactions unless explicitly stated.

In this document, the terms “we”, “our”, and “us” refer to FlipCash and its authorized third-party buyers.

1. Legal Ownership 

You certify that you are the sole and lawful owner of the device you wish to sell. Devices under EMI, lease, or third-party ownership are not eligible.


2. Device Inspection & Price Quotes

All price quotes are subject to final inspection of the device. No binding offer is made until we evaluate the condition of your device. We reserve the right to decline to purchase any item at our sole discretion.


3. Binding Quote Acceptance

If the final inspection matches your submitted device details and we agree to pay the quoted amount, you are legally bound to sell the device at that price.


4. Mismatch in Condition/Details

If, upon inspection, your device is:

  • A different model than what was quoted,

  • Missing parts/accessories,

  • In a different physical or functional condition,
    …we reserve the right to revise the quoted price accordingly.


5. Required Documents

All device sales must be accompanied by:

  • A self-attested government-approved ID proof of the seller

  • A self-attested indemnity bond (if required by FlipCash or buyer partners)


6. Legal Compliance & Indemnity

You confirm that:

  • The device is not stolen or illegally acquired.

  • The sale does not violate any laws.

  • You have full ownership and legal rights to sell.

You agree to indemnify and hold FlipCash and its affiliates harmless against any claims or losses due to the sale.


7. Data Deletion Responsibility

You are responsible for deleting all personal data from your device. Even if data remains accessible due to technical reasons, FlipCash or its partners will not be liable.


8. No Return Policy

Once a device is sold, the transaction is final. Devices sold via FlipCash cannot be returned.


9. Gifted or Free Government Devices

Devices provided under any government or NGO schemes are not accepted for sale on FlipCash.


10. Modifications to Terms

We may change these terms at any time without prior notice. Continued use of FlipCash after such changes means you agree to the updated terms.


11. Suspicious Transactions

FlipCash reserves the right to cancel any transaction if it is found to be suspicious or fraudulent.

 

Terms of Use for Repair of Product

1. General Overview

FlipCash is an online platform that connects users with independent third-party technicians for the repair of mobile phones, tablets, laptops, and other electronic devices. These technicians may work individually or under authorized logistics service partners. FlipCash only acts as a facilitator or bridge between you and the technician. It does not directly provide any repair or delivery services. Therefore, FlipCash shall not be held responsible for any issues, damages, or disputes that may arise from the services provided by the technician.


2. Responsibility & Risks

FlipCash does not take any responsibility for the skill, safety, reliability, or behavior of any third-party technician. It is entirely your responsibility to assess and decide whether a technician is suitable for your service needs. By using this service, you acknowledge that you are engaging with the technician at your own risk, and FlipCash will not be liable for any losses, damages, or dissatisfaction arising out of their service.


3. Payment Terms

When you book a repair service, the technician charges a fee for the repair. FlipCash collects this payment and transfers it to the technician on your behalf. Once the service is completed, you will receive a detailed payment receipt via email. All payments made are usually non-refundable unless FlipCash chooses to process a refund based on its discretion. You may cancel the service request anytime before the technician reaches your location.


4. Use of Spare Parts (Including Original & Compatible)

FlipCash strives to provide the best quality repair services. In some cases, original parts are used for repairs. However, depending on availability and customer preference, high-quality compatible spare parts may also be used. These compatible parts are carefully tested to ensure durability and performance close to that of original components. Whether an original or compatible part is used will be clearly communicated to you before the repair begins.


5. iOS Device Repair Notice

If you are getting an Apple device (iPhone, iPad, etc.) repaired through FlipCash, please note that the parts used may not always be sourced from Apple. We may use high-grade third-party components that function similarly to original parts. Also, please be aware that any repair done outside of Apple’s official service centers may void your existing Apple warranty.


6. Warranty Policy

All repairs done through FlipCash include a minimum 30-day warranty on both parts and technician labor. This warranty covers any issues directly related to the repaired component or service provided. If the part malfunctions or fails during the warranty period, it will be repaired or replaced free of cost.

However, the warranty does not cover the following situations:

  • Damage caused by mishandling or accidental drops

  • Software-related issues

  • Jailbroken or modified devices

  • Pre-existing issues not related to the repair

  • Liquid or water damage

  • Loss of data due to repair

This warranty is applicable only to the customer and the specific device for which the service was availed. It is non-transferable to another person or device.


7. Technician Responsibility

The technicians assigned for your repair service are independent contractors and not employees of FlipCash. They are not authorized service partners of any brand including Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, etc. By accepting the repair service, you release FlipCash from any legal liability or claim in case of any issue unless there is proven negligence by the technician.


8. Data Loss Disclaimer

During the repair process, there is a risk of data loss on your device. FlipCash is not responsible for any data loss, corruption, or deletion that may occur. We strongly recommend that you take a full backup of your device before handing it over for repair.


9. Manufacturer Warranty Void

Getting your device repaired by a third-party technician may void the official warranty provided by the device manufacturer. FlipCash will not be liable if your device warranty becomes invalid after the repair service.


10. Limited Warranty Terms

A limited warranty of a minimum of 30 days is provided on all repaired parts and accessories unless a longer period is specified at the time of service. If the repaired part turns out to be defective within the warranty period, FlipCash will arrange for a free replacement or repair. This limited warranty applies only to the customer and the repaired device. It cannot be transferred or extended to others.


11. Claim Procedure

If you experience any issue within the warranty period, you must notify both FlipCash and the technician immediately. Warranty claims must follow the defined process. If proper procedures are not followed or claims are delayed, the request may be rejected.


12. Legal Notice

Some jurisdictions may have certain consumer rights that cannot be waived. These terms do not override such statutory rights. By using our repair service, you agree that the terms provided are fair and that FlipCash’s role is limited to that of a facilitator between customers and service providers.

Please Note:

  • FlipCash is not a service provider. We only connect users with verified third-party technicians.

  • We aim to use original spare parts wherever available. In cases where original parts are not accessible, we ensure high-quality compatible parts are used that match original performance standards.

  • Repairing your device through a third-party technician may void the manufacturer’s warranty.

  • FlipCash and the third-party technicians are not authorized service providers for brands such as Apple, Samsung, Xiaomi, etc.

  • All customers are advised to take a full backup of their device data before handing it over for repair.

  • FlipCash is not responsible for data loss, device warranty void, or any damages caused during or after the repair process.

  • A minimum 30-day warranty is applicable on parts and labor unless otherwise specified. Warranty claims must be submitted within the valid period.

  • This warranty is non-transferable and valid only for the original customer and device.

  • Using FlipCash services means you agree to these terms and understand the risks involved in third-party repair services.
